Trade exchange between Iran and the European Union countries increased 61 percent in the first 10 months of 2017 from the same time in 2016, IRNA reported on Monday.
The figure stood at €16.64 billion in the said time, the same report confirmed.
Iran’s exports to EU countries was €8.24 billion and its imports from EU stood at €8.40 billion in this time span. In the first 10 months of 2016, Iran exported €3.9 billion of goods to EU and imported €6.3 billion.
As IRNA reported, the increase in Iran-EU trade has been due to the two-folded exports of Iran to European countries according to a report released by Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA).
